Welcome to MusicManLive ...
People are always approaching me at gigs and asking where to buy equipment and how much I paid for this or that. My answer is usually the same to everyone, I price hunt the web and purchase anything over $200.00 from the internet and anything under $200.00 from local stores. The idea is that most internet stores don't charge tax and shipping is free over $199.00. It's a no brainer. The only exception would be an instrument where you really need to play it first to make sure it has the qualities you're looking for (e.g. guitar or saxaphone). I'm sure all of you can look up your local music store in the yellow pages, so I'm only going to list internet stores here that I've had a relationship with and that I know treat you right.
